Your funny, friendly, conversational best friend/mom/possible secret agent type.
What I Do
Film & TV
Esther uses her solid 7 face card to appear in commercials, indie shorts, and dramatic features. She’s scared audiences in head-to-toe fake blood in Regicide and accidentally predicted COVID with her own award-winning short, Safe House.
Voiceover
With 20 years of VO experience, Esther has established herself as a go-to voice actor for “conversational, not announcery,” especially in commercials and corporate narration. She’s also a lifelong Final Fantasy gamer and will do barks and onos for hours, whether you pay her or not.
Theatre & Comedy
Addicted to pre-performance anxiety, Esther is regularly found in plays, musicals, and improv/standup comedy. She’s recently been growing in the cougar niche by seducing younger men as “Sarah” in The Birds and the Bees and “Tanya” in Mamma Mia!.

Who I Am
Born in Budapest, Hungarian-Canadian actor Esther Raday has been performing since she was born, her very first role being in a long-forgotten Hungarian movie when she was just six days old.
After moving to Toronto at age six, Esther began collecting her educational brownie points: She attended Young People’s Theatre, studied acting at York University in Toronto, and received a Masters in Musical Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama in London, England. She's also a graduate of the Second City Conservatory in Toronto and has performed in countless comedy shows in Toronto and Los Angeles.
Throughout this journey, Esther discovered a love for voice acting while doing voices for her favourite Final Fantasy characters before they had VAs. She’s been in countless commercials and corporate narration projects, and has voiced several video game characters too (still waiting for her Final Fantasy debut—hint, hint, Square Enix).
On screen, Esther performs in independent shorts and feature films. She wrote, produced, and performed in Safe House, a personal project that won recognition at the Toronto Shorts International Film Festival.
Esther spends most of her time being a human servant to her English Cocker Spaniel, Lady Lunafreya (or just Luna will do).
